At the recent Printing South China Exhibition, IECHO showcased the AK4 intelligent cutting system, which quickly became a highlight of the show.
During the exhibition, the AK4 ran continuously for multiple days, precisely performing tasks including full-cardboard cutting, half-cut adhesive labels, thick corrugated board cutting, and post-print die-cutting, attracting significant attention from professionals.
“The advertising and packaging industry is facing challenges such as fragmented orders, short delivery cycles, and frequent material changes,”explained an IECHO product manager at the show.“The AK4 was developed to help customers overcome these issues. It features a built-in multi-material process database, automatically adjusting cutting parameters when switching between cardboard, adhesive, and corrugated board without repeated manual tuning.”
AK4 core competitiveness lies in its“10 year precision without drift.”The machine’s industrial-grade welded steel body, combined with multi-point stress dispersion, prevents deformation from long-term high-intensity operations. A newly introduced thermal expansion compensation mechanism automatically corrects for temperature and humidity fluctuations, keeping overall cutting precision stable at 0.1mm.
In terms of efficiency, the AK4 high-speed, stable cutting and optimized head platform design allow complex shapes to be cut at high speed without deviation or vibration, reducing idle travel time by over 30%. This ensures production speed is significantly improved, whether for large-volume small-label batches or urgent small-batch custom box orders.
“We focus not only on today’s performance but also on its value three to five years down the line,” said an IECHO representative. “The AK4 is designed to be a ‘10-year production partner’ for advertising and packaging companies.”
