AK4 Supports Flexible Production in Apparel & Home Furnishing, Achieving “10-Year Material Savings”

In apparel and home furnishing soft material processing, material costs often account for the largest portion of production expenses. High-end PU leather, elastic knitted fabrics, and composite home materials are expensive, and cutting waste directly impacts profits.

The AK4 intelligent cutting system was developed to address this core pain point. Co-developed with German ARISTO, it inherits ARISTO transmission stability while integrating IECHO expertise in flexible material processing.

The AK4 cutting head features a low-center-of-gravity design, maintaining perfect balance even at high speeds. Elastic fabrics cut without deviation; thick PU leather cuts smoothly without vibration; even stretchable knits can be cut to precise dimensions, minimizing waste of expensive materials.

AK4’s core design principle is “10 year stable precision.” Its industrial-grade welded body is optimized via finite element analysis and multi-point stress dispersion for long-term 24/7 operation without deformation. The ARISTO inspired drive system with intelligent constant-pressure lubrication prevents precision drift caused by wear.

The intelligent automatic nesting module optimizes material layouts based on fabric width and pattern size, significantly improving utilization. For multi-layer small-quantity cutting in apparel, AK4 precisely controls cutting depth, avoiding over cutting top layers or undercutting bottom layers, ensuring uniform sizes across layers.

From design to finished product, AK4 provides a full-process solution: compatible with mainstream apparel CAD and home design formats, data editing modules automatically connect broken lines and remove redundant paths, and continuous cutting systems with dedicated feeding racks enable automated material handling with minimal manual intervention.

“Choosing AK4 means selecting a 10-year durable, precise, material-saving’ flexible production system,” said IECHO representative.
