Recently, MBA students and faculty from the School of Management at Zhejiang University visited IECHO Fuyang production base for an in-depth “Enterprise Visit/Micro-Consulting” program. The session was led by the Director of the Zhejiang University’s Technology Entrepreneurship Center alongside an Associate Professor of Innovation and Strategy.
With the theme “Practice · Reflection · Growth,” the visit gave participants a firsthand look at modern industrial operations while bridging classroom knowledge with real-world practice.
With guidance from the IECHO management team, the MBA group carried out a detailed analysis focused on strategy, specialization, and innovation. Through guided tours and in-depth discussions, they gained clear insights into IECHO innovation road map, business structure, and plans for future growth in intelligent manufacturing.
In the administrative hall, IECHO representatives highlighted the company’s development journey; beginning with apparel CAD software in 2005, followed by equity restructuring in 2017, and the acquisition of the German brand ARISTO in 2024. Today, IECHO has evolved into a global provider of intelligent cutting solutions, holding 182 patents and serving customers across more than 100 countries and regions.
Key operational indicators; including a 60,000 m²production base, a workforce with over 30% dedicated to R&D, and a 7/12 global service network; underscore the company’s commitment to technology-driven growth.
In the International Exhibition Hall, visitors explored IECHO product portfolio, industry-specific solutions, and successful international case studies. The exhibits highlighted the company’s core technologies and market adaptability, providing a clear picture of its global value chain.
The delegation then explored the production workshop, observing automated manufacturing processes from raw materials to finished product packaging. The visit demonstrated IECHO strengths in production management, operational execution, and quality control.
While speaking with the IECHO team, the delegation learned about the company evolution from standalone cutting equipment to integrated “software + hardware + services” solutions, and its shift toward a global network centered on Germany and Southeast Asia.
The visit concluded successfully, reinforcing the “Practice · Reflection · Growth” model and fostering meaningful exchanges between industry and academia. IECHO continues to welcome collaborations with academic institutions to nurture talent, share knowledge, and explore new opportunities in smart manufacturing.
