LCT Q&A Part2——Software use and cutting process

1.If the equipment fails, how to check the alarm information?—- Signals green for normal operation, red for the item’s fault warning Gray to show that the board is not powered up.

2.How to set the winding torque? What is the appropriate setting?

—- The initial torque (tension) is set according to the width of the rolled material, generally set 75-95N. The roll diameter is filled in according to the current radius of the material to be rewound. Material thickness (Material) Material thickness (thickness) according to the actual thickness to fill in. Click “OK” to finish inputting.

3.How to set the collection torque? What is the appropriate setting?
—- Initial torque (tension) is set according to the width of the rolled material, generally set 40-55N. Roll diameter (Roll diameter) is filled in according to the current receiving radius. The thickness of the upper layer of material (Material Material thickness (thickness) according to the actual thickness to fill in. Click “OK” to finish inputting.

4.How to stop the rotary rollers when they keep idling due to an accidental sheet break during flight cutting?

—- First turn off the Fly state, and then click reloading.

5.Why can’t the cut graphics be closed? Closing a shaped shape?

—- Adds a little jump delays and mark delays.

6.Why start/end point matchheads?

—- The start matchhead increases the on delay and the end match head decreases the off delay.

7.Why is the starting point not closed?

—- Reduces the on delay and increases the off delay.

8.How do you fix perforated points of inflection?

—- Reduces poly delay, which can mitigate perforation.

9.Why are the cut edges burred and uneven?

—- Increase the laser repetition frequency (Frequency) or reduce the cutting speed (Speed), The number of pulses that regularly output laser light per unit time

10.How to solve the problem that the cutting depth is not up to standard?

—- Increase the laser Power (duty cycle), decreasing the cutting Speed or increasing the laser pulse Frequency.

11.Why is it that when cutting on the fly, the laser is too late to cut resulting in a long time to stay at a point out of the light (light chasing phenomenon)?

·Set the laser marking sequence so that the laser hits the paper direction graphics first. You can use the manual sequencing or automatic sequencing function when editing graphics in the software.
Try to keep the layout graphic as close as possible to the direction of the paper feed so that the laser  has sufficient lead time for marking.

12.Why does the software (LaserCad) prompt “The drive has not started or is in an abnormal state” when I click Mark?
·Check to see if the device is powered up and if the lower right corner of the software shows the board is offline.

13.Why does LaserCad fail to save files?
·When the software is set to the English version, Chinese cannot appear in the save file name and save path.

14.How do I switch languages in LaserCad?
·Find “Menu Bar” – “Settings” – “System Settings” – “Language” and select the desired language.

15.How to use the “Split on the fly” in the LaserCad toolbar?
·The “Flying Split” function is mainly used to cut long format (beyond the scope of the galvanometer) graphics, selected graphics click on the function graphics will be automatically divided in accordance with the length of the settings, and finally select the trigger mode after the flight, you can realize the effect of long format splicing.

16.Why is there a gap in the articulation after using the “Split on the fly” function? The two versions of the graphic are not completely connected?
·As there will be communication time between the software and hardware, resulting in the possibility that there may be a point that is not connected, we can modify the bias distance to achieve splicing according to the actual deviation.

17.What is the “Point Edit” function in the LaserCad toolbar?
·The “Point Edit” function makes it easy to re-select the position of the start and end points of the laser cuts in the tool layout.

18.What does the LaserCad toolbar “Power Test” do?
·Unknown new materials can be easily and quickly approximated by this function to confirm the relevant process parameters, the customer can choose a satisfactory cutting effect in 25 samples as the process parameters to use.

19.How do I view LaserCad shortcut settings?
·Stand-alone menu bar “Help” – “Shortcut Keys” for viewing

20.How do I duplicate or array multiple shapes in the software?
·Select the desired graphics and then right-click, enter the “Array Function” to select the desired arrangement and graphic spacing.

21.What formats does the software import support?
·LCAD /.DXF /.PLT /.PDF
