In daily production, some IECHO customers have reported that when using lightweight materials for continuous cutting and feeding, wrinkles occasionally appear.
This not only affects the smoothness of feeding but may also impact the final product quality.
To address this issue, IECHO technical team has summarized two main causes and quick solutions.
Causes and Solutions
1. Check the correct use of the machine’s tension mechanism
Proper tension is key to ensuring smooth and flat material feeding.
Incorrect operation can easily cause wrinkles during feeding.
Correct steps:
Place the material roll correctly on the dual-roller feeding rack.
Pay special attention to the threading path: the material must first pass over the inner rod, then under the outer rod.
Following this path effectively creates and maintains the required tension, keeping the material flat throughout feeding and preventing wrinkles at the source.
2. Adjust excessive blowback force
If the machine’s blowback device is set too strong, it can hit lightweight materials too hard, also causing wrinkles.
Simple adjustment method:
Locate the cylinder that controls the blowback force.
Usually, turning the cylinder clockwise about 1 cm is enough to reduce the blowback force effectively.
Fine-tune according to the material characteristics and production situation until the best results are achieved.
Summary
By correctly using the tension mechanism and carefully adjusting the blowback force, you can quickly and effectively eliminate wrinkles in lightweight materials during continuous cutting and feeding.
